The Agspring portfolio of subsidiaries continuously grows our presence in several different functional areas of the agriculture commodity and food supply marketplaces. These subsidiaries maintain a nimble and responsive position in their markets while inheriting the financial backing and horizontal efficiencies of the entire Agspring network.
Thresher Artisan Wheat
Agspring formed Thresher Artisan Wheat through the acquisition of General Mills grain operations in Idaho. With locally managed operations, Thresher brings a growth-oriented focus on operations that includes elevator storage, handling, grain conditioning and merchandising. Thresher continues the strong legacy of building a unique value-added system in partnership with seed suppliers, producers and key customers which occupies a lead position in sustainable wheat sourcing and production.
Our logistics operation, launching in early 2015, provides agriculture supplier and end users with a superior alternative for distributing and sourcing crop production. This best-in-class organization will be known for responsive customer service, innovative methods, risk management and an atmosphere in line with Agspring core values.
This unique platform serving entities across the supply chain will include state-of-the-art information systems, robust credit facilities, physical commodity storage, logistical control and an industry-leading compensation plan.
Our initial focus on North American trade flows includes specialty grains and oilseeds, livestock feeds and consumer food ingredients.
